Our MissionSaint Jerome is a Nationally Accredited Faith-based-year-round preschool, since 1980. The primary purpose of St. Jerome Early Childhood Center is to provide a supportive environment in which children, parents, and the community shall benefit. Our Center shall provide an educational learning environment in which each child can realize his or her God-given capabilities through his or her efforts. The SJECC experience shall include spiritual, physical, and social development as well as personal guidance given by skilled personnel whose primary interest is the child.

OUR PhilosophyOur Center is based on Catholic values and traditions. St. Jerome ECC welcomes children of all nationalities, religions, languages and ethnic backgrounds. At St. Jerome, we stress the importance of understanding and respecting the cultures of all the families we serve. We strive to nurture all children's self-esteem and sense of belonging. We make every effort to build a trusting relationship with each child from the first day.

OUR TEAMOur team of preschool educators are committed to providing a quality experience focused on Catholic teachings, for children, ages 6 weeks to 4 years. Our goal is to build a team that is dedicated, fun, and nurturing.
To create a quality learning environment, Saint Jerome ECC requires all lead teachers to have Early Childhood Education degree or have experience working with preschool aged children. In addition, all of our staff is expected to further their education by attending developmental trainings, conferences and workshops that include but are not limited to:- Texas Childcare Regulations
- First Aid/CPR
- Stop the Bleed
- Child Abuse & Neglect Awareness
- Drills: Fire, Lock downs, & Shelter in Places
- Implementing age appropriate curriculum, and activities
- Child development
- Crisis control
- Classroom management
- Food handeling and nutrition.
