The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is the largest national organization of Catholic women in the world. It is a charitable, educational and religious organization boasting a membership of more than 90,000 in 45 states. Membership is open to Catholic lay or religious women 18 years of age or older.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas…
- Meet monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from September through June
- Donate time and effort to our parish and local charities
- Administer scholarship programs
- Are “helping hands” when needed
- We embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.

Texas State Court MemorialScholarship Fund
This fund was established in 1980 as a tribute to the deceased Past State Regents.
The money is used to aid in the higher education of member and family members of Texas Catholic Daughters and is given in the form of scholarships.
The Person(s) enrolled will be remembered for the period of one year in the Holy Mass offered the First Friday of each month by the State Chaplain.

Catholic Clerical Student Fund was chartered in 1933. It has been reincorporated perpetually, conforming with State laws as well as the wishes of the Council and the Board of Directors. Originally it was begun to feed the seminarians and we have continued to support them through the years.

$3.00 card for an Individual and $10.00 card for a Family
Spiritual favors offered at
St. Mary’s Seminary, 9845 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77024- Celebration of the Mass offered each month for one year.
- Daily remembrance in the prayers of Faculty & Seminarians.
- Frequent remembrance at the Prayers of the Faithful at the Seminary Liturgy.
- Mass during the Spring for living benefactors.
- Mass during the month of November for deceased benefactors.
- $25.00 card Enrolled perpetually in The Catholic Clerical Student Fund of Galveston-Houston Archdiocesan Council, National Council Catholic Women
